A safe and secure space


The Grove is privately owned and managed by Rebecca Browne, an experienced early years teacher and Elaine Catchpole, a nursery nurse with 18 year’s experience in managing nurseries.

The Grove is regulated and inspected by OFSTED and was given a glowing report following its last inspection in November 2007. In 2005 The Grove  was awarded Islington’s Quality Assurance in childcare, an accreditation which gives parents the added assurance that the services provided are of the highest standard.

We do not use temporary agency staff as we have our own relief staff who come in to cover for staff illness or holidays and you can be assured that all our staff have been checked by the CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) to make sure they are safe to work with children.

One of the reasons for The Grove’s success is that Rebecca or Elaine are always on site, ensuring that the high standards of care they insist on, are continually maintained.
